At Shane Literacy & Learning LLC, we believe that the emotional state & psyche of a child are of utmost importance when beginning to address a learning disability with intervention. At our center you will see sensory gym equipment, imaginative play toys, and lots of books for children to freely explore. We use evidence based practices that align with the latest research on the science of reading.

Kara began her career as a classroom teacher in 2004 specializing in Reading & Language Arts. It wasn't until her son was diagnosed with dyslexia that she began the process to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist. Kara is passionate about helping students become confident & fluent readers. Kara uses several Neuhaus curriculums
Kara began her career as a classroom teacher in 2004 specializing in Reading & Language Arts. It wasn't until her son was diagnosed with dyslexia that she began the process to become a Certified Academic Language Therapist. Kara is passionate about helping students become confident & fluent readers. Kara uses several Neuhaus curriculums including Reading Readiness & Basic Language Skills I, II, & III. Kara believes in the nurturing style of the Reggio Emilia approach and atmosphere. Kara is married and has one son.

Ashlee's passion lies in the belief that every child can learn, every child is deserving of empathy, and every child is special. Ashlee implores a highly engaging & language rich app

Ashlee's passion lies in the belief that every child can learn, every child is deserving of empathy, and every child is special. Ashlee implores a highly engaging & language rich approach using Neuhaus Oral Language and Reading Readiness curriculums. Ashlee also incorporates a Reggio Emilia style to her teaching. Ashlee is married and has two boys.
